Beyçelik Gestamp follows the principles of combating social gender inequality, minimizing the vast gender gap in the economic field, and recognizing the necessity for the women of Turkey to be more active in the national economy. In this context, Beyçelik Gestramp signed the UN Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in 2017. By signing these principles, Beyçelik Gestamp has pledged to comply with the following principles.
1. Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality,
2. Treat all women and men fairly at work-respect and support human rights and nondiscrimination,
3. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all women and men workers,
4. Promote education, training, and professional development for women,
5. Implement enterprise development, supply chain, and marketing practices that empower women,
6. Promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy,
7. Measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality.
Trainings
For the purpose of increasing women employment, “On-the-Job Training Program for Women” is organized at certain periods in collaboration with Bursa Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency. Such job-guaranteed programs intend to provide any female trainee with employment and gain competencies with which they can easily find jobs also at other firms in industry.
It is intended that employees gain an egalitarian perspective by providing social gender equality trainings on a regular basis within the company through internal instructors. Further, Social Gender Equality Training is included in orientation trainings implemented for employees who recently started to work.
Beyçelik Gestamp Equality Committee
In 2019, Beyçelik Gestamp established Beyçelik Gestamp Equality Committee which is entirely composed of volunteers for disseminating culture of joint decision making in activities for social gender equality and women’s empowerment and to render activities sustainable. The committee creates operations with equality action plan it forms and measures, reports change and improvement within the company.
Beyçelik Gestamp, for the purpose of rendering equality sustainable along with workplace practices and written copies, not only awareness, published Beyçelik Gestamp Social Gender Equality Policy in November 2020.

Collaboration with NGO
Beyçelik Gestamp signed a collaboration protocol with Mor Salkım Kadın Dayanışma Derneği. Under the protocol, any employee and their next of kin can use violence hotline that provides service 24/7 and obtain free support from the association.
Memberships
In 2018 Beyçelik Gestamp became a member of Women’s Empowerment Bursa Platform which was established with the aim of carrying to Bursa activities that are performed related to social gender equality and women’s empowerment in Turkey and to position Bursa as exemplary province in business world.
In 2020, Beyçelik Gestamp joined in the Project of Business Against Domestic Violence (BADV)
which is executed by Sabancı University Corporate Management Forum with support from UN Population Fund and Sabancı Foundation and collaboration with TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association).
Bursa's Company that Values Women
In 2019, Beyçelik Gestamp was considered worthy of “Bursa’s Company that Values Women” prize by Bursa Business Women and Executives Association (BUİKAD).
Women-Friendly Brands Awareness Prize 2021
Beyçelik Gestamp was considered worthy of “Women-Friendly Brands Awareness Prize 2021” by Women-Friendly Brands Platform thanks to its “On-the-Job Training Program” and “Equality Committee” projects.
